Buyer

Responsibilities:Under general supervision, performs varied purchasing assignments.Meet targets and achieve annual budget savings.Liaison between Engineering and vendors.Analyze demands and make purchases as required.Follow up on timely delivery from suppliers.Maintain appropriate inventory levels.Perform other duties or special projects as requested.Adhere to purchasing guidelines to achieve company goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.Fluent in English.Minimum of 2 years' experience in the sourcing or supply chain department.Experience in purchasing raw materials in the medical, aerospace, or automotive sector.Experience in supplier development and cost reduction strategies.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Ability to read and understand MRP, place purchase orders, and manage safety stock levels, sales orders, shortage reports, and engineering projects.Proficient in PC and database programs, including MS Office (excellent Excel skills preferable).Must have excellent organizational and typing skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
