As an OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will Innovation in a way, you will help with the projects of overall material management activities and supporting on any improvement programs through value drivers of RM Risk Management, Process Optimization.
You will be worked #LI-hybrid based in our plant in San Juan del Rio, Queretaro.
You will report to The Regional Operations Lead
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and handle daily material usage requirement to ensure no material interruption and excess of inventory while working collaboratively with partners to develop and implement regional RM sourcing strategies.
- Produce relevant reports and analysis.
- Follow up on internal customer's request and guide them on the internal processes to facilitate the procurement process inside PPG.
- Collaborate with other PPG functions to provide efficient and unique solutions to our internal customers and suppliers.
- Work with the Planning and Production Management teams to develop an understanding of their supply chain needs.
- Follow up on the requirements of samples until is delivery to the final requester and supplier.
- Collaborate in the processes of NDAs with the legal, supplier and sourcing team.
- Clarify order requirements, ensuring orders are placed with the appropriate suppliers and that delivery loads are optimized to reduce overall cost.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineer or Supply Chain or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience as buyer or equivalent, 6 months or more in Supply Chain, for similar categories
- Proficient English
- Data-driven person and provided insights to its team and business leaders.
