Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Buyer.
**What you'll do**:
This role will be responsible of buy and ensure the raw materials and components to production as well as procurement of machinery and ancillary equipment. Ensure proper and timely ncporation of suppliers and service providers into our internal systems prior to requisition/order placements.
A. Continuous communication with suppliers related shipments, quality issue, lead times, etc.
B. Validate with finance GR/IR in weekly basis.
C. Keep updated record of Material Master for assigned items
D. Manage in weekly basis MRP exception messages, making sure action plan is in place
E. Should be able to identify demand patterns as well as project schedule and react in timely manner to mitigate any impact to the business
F. Generate report of shortages and delays including status and ETA for all of them
G. Able to generate root cause analysis.
H. Coordinate with logistics import of raw material and equipment as well as pick up with local and foreign vendors
I. Participate and support in different projects related of savings, design, marketing, sourcing, etc.
J. Work closely with financial team (FSS) and ensuring the payment suppliers, validate and sent the changes needed.
K. Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost out opportunities.
L. Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and objectives and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area.

**Qualifications**:
Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration or related career
2- 3 years experience in a similar role and industry in supply chain function.
