Buyers are directly responsible for the delivery performance and communication with the supply base associated with their parts. Buyers manage the balance of inventory against the scheduled build plan to assure healthy stock levels while maximizing build rates.

Main job-specific requirements / skills: • Ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years purchasing experience. CPM or CPSM is desirable.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify and execute savings opportunities, implement sourcing strategies, and quickly execute tasks to realize benefits.
• Ability to multi-task multiple categories & projects. Ability to coordinate strategies/activities across multiple business functions.
• Financial & quantitative analysis experience a plus. Problem solving skills essential,
• Supplier order board management – maintaining a supplier past due % Optional: • Experience with Oracle and access or other SQL application is a plus.
• Organized and capable of dealing with high volume of interactions with a broad cross-section of the company.
