And if that's you we would love to have you join us!**Job Description**:The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of a wide variety of commodities, materials and supplies Globally, open and continue communication with planning team in order to inform any spike/gap in the demand/supply to avoid disruptions in production lines or impacts with Rockwell customers.**Activities**:- Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.- Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased.- Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.- Obtains materials, components, equipment and services.- Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.- Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value.- May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.**Requirements**:- Bachelor´s degree (Business Administration or Engineering)- +2 year experience on MRO or Planning Materials.LI-DFG
