OSITION RESPONSIBILITES: *
- evelop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for new commodity segments within organization *
- evelop New Supplier on Boarding Process for Production / Service Content *
- anage and negotiate supplier price change requests, resourcing actions, market tests, and lead cost reduction projects. *
- aintain supplier active pricing in purchasing files *
- ead supplier commercial negotiations and resolve issues affecting part supply, including distressed supplier situations *
- esolve supplier shortage and past due situations *
- nsure suppliers' adherence to Ford Global Terms and Conditions *
- nsure timely responses to all quality issues and processing of SREA's and Alerts, when applicable *
- eet deadlines for all buyer requests. Examples are Q1 updates, payment terms evaluations, etc. *
- anage timely resolution of part sourcing and pricing issues *
- nalysis of data from a variety of internal and external sources to deliver the best value to Ford *
- uote and negotiate pricing with suppliers for the purchase of service parts, tooling and services *
- ssist in resolution of cost, quality and delivery issues affecting supply *
