This covers all NPD and MDP sourcing activities, the serial purchasing tasks, and handling of spare parts commercial activities.The activities have to be performed in accordance with our Global Supply Chain Strategy and the Mexico Deployment Plan. Furthermore, our targets in the focus criteria such as Partnership potential, Innovation, Production / Logistics requirements, Quality, and Cost have to be supported.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the respective commodity strategy activities (strategic sourcing process)Actively perform the supplier relationship managementConduct technology, market, industry, and benchmark research and analysis activitiesSourcing activities for new components following our NPD process and the DTQC principlesSourcing activities for Relocation Process (12 Steps)RFQ and negotiations for parts/tools based on cost analysis and open book policy with suppliersSupplier nomination/selection in the cross-functional sourcing meetingContract negotiations with suppliers such as LTA, Terms/conditions, B2B contract, and LogisticsAdministrative activities in our IT System (SAP)Follow BRP values and behaviorsEnsure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topicsEnforce Quality BRP policyYOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSSavingsProject deliveriesSAP system maintained properlyEducation: Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or Economics.Experience: 0-2 years' experience in buyer responsibility; ideally with some experience in a manufacturing role, preferably in the automotive industry.Language:Fluent in Spanish written and verbalEnglish written and verbal (Min: 80%)Knowledge of French or German is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
