This covers all NPD and MDP sourcing activities, the serial purchasing tasks, and the handling of spare parts commercial activities. The activities have to be performed in accordance with our Global Supply Chain Strategy and the Mexico Deployment Plan. Furthermore, our targets in the focus criteria such as Partnership potential, Innovation, Production / Logistics requirements, Quality, and Cost have to be supported. This requires the active performance of the defined supplier relationship management program.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the respective commodity strategy activities (strategic sourcing process).Actively perform the supplier relationship management.Conduct technology, market, industry, and benchmark research and analysis activities.Perform sourcing activities for new components following our NPD process and the DTQC principles.Conduct sourcing activities for the Relocation Process (12 Steps).Manage RFQ and negotiations for parts/tools based on cost analysis and open book policy with suppliers.Participate in supplier nomination/selection in the cross-functional sourcing meeting.Negotiate contracts with suppliers such as LTA, Terms/conditions, B2B contracts, and Logistics.Perform administrative activities in our IT System (SAP).Follow BRP values and behaviors.Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topics.Enforce Quality BRP policy.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSSavings.Project deliveries.SAP system maintained properly.Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or Economics.Experience:0-2 years' experience in such a buyer responsibility; ideally with some experience in a manufacturing role as well; ideally in the automotive industry
