Procure needed supplies/material using DSSI ordering system.
Request quote on products, research unique requests for best cost and timing, and initiate orders.
- Enter in Purchase Order requisitions for Product Engineering.
Purchases span prototype tooling, prototype parts, 3 rd party labor and technical services
- Creates and submits Price Change Requests (PCR) and revisions to existing PO's.
- Act as role of buyer on orders under $5K USD and ensure requirements are met before approving PO Req
- Create Purchase Orders and send the PO's to the requestor in a timely fashion
- Contact approvers as needed to resolve PO's that are stuck in a waiting cue
- Escalate issues when PO's are not getting approved
- Submit IT tickets when cause for PO issuance issuances are related to the tools (QAD/BPM)
- Responsible for teaching the requestors how to create the purchase requisition requests, coaching employees when incorrect/incomplete information is received.
