Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThis position is responsible for driving indirect purchasing strategies, projects, and procurement. This position is responsible for the procurement of goods and services company-wide, as assigned. This includes implementing and managing company-wide contracts; RFX management; Supply base market research and evaluation; Costreduction and process improvement projects. This position will act as the liaison between all LZB locations ensuring that we leverage our total purchasing power and work to leverage standardized best practice purchasingprocesses across all locations.- Manages the Request for "X" (RFI, RFP, RFQ) process for identified strategic sourcinginitiatives. Develops, coordinates, or supports the implementation plans forthese strategic sourcing initiatives ensuring the best overall value for thecompany.- Leads contract negotiations for all corporate wide agreements for assigned goods andservices.- Enforces corporate purchasing policy, processes, and controls into assigned areas ofcompany spending (ex. HR, Travel, Services, MRO). The includes conductingany E1 training and P2P problem solving as required.- Analyzes supplier spend data to identify (and implement) cost savings opportunities forassigned area of responsibility- retail, manufacturing plants, distributioncenters, and offices (i.E.
