Buyer / Material Planner (Área Los Potros)

Descripción y detalle de las actividades1.Understand MRP system to place purchase orders and manufacturing orders. 2. Check for shortages and follow-up with vendors on deliveries and components as needed. Order follow-up and expediting of manufacturing / purchase orders. 3. Price negotiations with vendors. 4. Forecast finished and raw materials 5. Oversee production and vendors to verify that customer demands are being met. 6. Communicate with Production Supervisors and Managers, Buyer, and the VP of Manufacturing Operations daily. 7. Create new bill of materials, vendor specifications sheets, new part numbers, and issue dummy MO's for approval by management. 8. Maintain item Master numbers. 9. Support Inventory Control Management (cycle counts, etc.) 10. Help solve production and Inventory problems. 11. Work with Shipping & Receiving on problems with productions Finished Products and Components. 12.
