If you are an **MRO Buyer **professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our **Saltillo, MX **location, you will be in charge of quote, process and track all MRO orders, propose and select alternative suppliers, conduct supplier' biddings and ensure inventory accuracy on MRO items. Under your responsibility you will also provide alternatives in cost reductions.
**AS AN MRO BUYER, YOU WILL**:
- Keep records of suppliers' scorecard
- Buy supplies for the spare parts room when inventories reach their min-max levels.
- Conduct preliminary negotiations with vendors.
- Ensure supplier's compliance and reliability according to company's policies.
- Report discrepancies in purchase orders
- Maintains suppliers filing current and up to date.
- Prepare internal reports for supplier's spending and others as requested.
- Maintains an attendance report.
**WHO YOU ARE**:
You act with a sense of confidentiality and privacy but most important on an ethical way. You relate comfortable with people and across other functional areas. You show empathy and customer service sense for associates. You effectively communicate and follow up using the most efficient channels of communication. You envision a development plan for yourself and align this to organizational objectives. You have the courage to propose changes that will improve the system or communication channels.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS**:
- Bachelor's degree in any administrative area.
- Bilingual Spanish-English
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role
- Advanced excel (pivots, vlookup's, grouping, subtotals, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in administrative concepts
- Action oriented
- Teamwork
- Able to work under stress.
**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS**:
- Decision making
- Skilled in Oracle a plus.
- Effective in communicating at all levels.
