Buyer Mrp

Buyer MRP is responsible for and manages purchasing providing all the material need for production and the company operations and for supplier relationship management. Also in charge of Quoting with other suppliers to implement Cost Savings and Imrprove On Time Delivery.Job Requirements- Bachelor degree- Bilingual English-Spanish or 80% proficiency in English language- Experience at least 5 years**Responsibilities**:1. Establish specifications in terms of optimal quantity to purchase, quality required and the cost impact on budget.2. Select suppliers according to the type of product, quality provided by the supplier and the possibility of partnership.3. Negotiate contracts that include costs, warranties, delivery, handling, and penalties for late delivering or cost overruns.4. Manage the purchasing cycle, including generating requisitions, PO creation, PO follow-up, goods reception and final payment5. Monitor supplier performance with a system that monitors, measures and provides feedback on supplier performance.6. Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials and services.7. Purchase products competitively.8. Keep inventory investment to a minimum.9. Establish, review and manage key peformance indicators pertaining to materials planning with materials planning team10.
