Buyer (New Grad)

This position provides supply chain management and procurement activities for assigned accounts that supports TurboFab and / or Construction Services supply chain. Accounts could include direct materials and services. This position will be responsible for order placement transactions, follow up on open orders, and collaborating with receiving to ensure timely receipt processing. Typical assignments can include but not limited: Balance of Plant Equipment (Vessels, Process Skids, etc), Electrical & Instrumentation, Hardware, Gaskets, Outside Vendor (OV) Services, Bulk / Consumable components.**What will you be doing in this position?**The Buyer withing the Supply Chain Americas group role serves at the primary owner of the supplier relationship and collaborates / coordinates information across multiple functional groups that can include Engineering, Operations, Planning, and coordination between the America's Supply Chain groups.Among the most relevant tasks:- Exposure to supplier evaluation and supplier visits- Supplier On-Boarding and Management- Request for Quote and Evaluation (eg: Source Select)- Order Placement & Management- Follow Up Report Management- Elevation of Service or Direct Material Non-Supporting Order(s)- Cost Saving Opportunities- Participate in Product and Project Meetings (as required or assigned)**What do we have to offer?**- Opportunities for personal development and training; - Fulltime job;- Market conform salary and bonus plan; - A position within a company where safety comes always first.**Do these skills and qualities define you?**- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain/Engineering.- Previous Supply Chain or Manufacturing internship experience is a plus but not required.- Good oral and written communication skills in English.- Experience using Microsoft Applications (excel, powerpoint, word).- Requires teamwork, collaborative, effective communication, and striving for process excellence.
