Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThis position provides supply chain management and procurement activities for assigned accounts that supports TurboFab and / or Construction Services supply chain. Accounts could include direct materials and services. This position will be responsible for order placement transactions, follow up on open orders, and collaborating with receiving to ensure timely receipt processing. Typical assignments can include but not limited: Balance of Plant Equipment (Vessels, Process Skids, etc), Electrical & Instrumentation, Hardware, Gaskets, Outside Vendor (OV) Services, Bulk / Consumable components. The Buyer withing the Supply Chain Americas group role serves at the primary owner of the supplier relationship and collaborates / coordinates information across multiple functional groups that can include Engineering, Operations, Planning, and coordination between the America's Supply Chain groups.
