Descripcin y Requisitos SMT EXPERIENCEResponsibr optimizing the overall cost of materials, develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies, propllow up of all NPI Project, proper set up of all the Material Master, Set up of proper parameters in ERP System Analyze and project component purchase prices that accurately reflect the inventory valrnancial period in Standard Costing process.Create weekly purchase orders including all client parts Optimizes overall cost of materials.Support, execute and provide inputs to improctory initiatives and strategies.Improve sourcing options by working wiXCONN internal resources and customers to preferred and or strategic suppliers to the customer's Approved Manufacturer's List (AML).Analyze and project component purchase prices that accurately reflect the inventory valrnancial period in Standard Costing process.Provide input to determine Quoted cost to the customer that is competitive yet maximizes the amount of Purchase Price Variance (PPV).Continuously optimize PPV by reducing the cost of materials and by limitingunfavorable PPV.Work with Business Unit Managers-Directors to obtain customers' authorizatir additional expenses such as premiums on materials eight and tooling charges incurred on customer's behalf.Monitor, track and proviedback on suppliers' performance on overall cost, delivery and.Manage materials that are Business Unit specific and/or strategic.Understand suppliers, their capabilities, market trend and technologir assigned commodities.Communicate expectations to the suppliers.Conduct supplier audit/visits, certifications and performance reviews to develop and continuously improve supply base.Work with Materials Quote Analysts-Finance Team to quote new and existing materialequently re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities.Select suppliers based on overall cost and benefit including price, duteighexibility, service, performance, and terms and conditions.Negotiate terms and conditions that protect the best interest XCONN and its customers.Negotiate liability terms, special stocking arrangements, and other agreements that are outside of standaXCONN terms and conditions.
