.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Reporting directly to the Materials/SAP specialist, this role will support Centerpiece's growth and Centerpiece's operational excellence strategies by ensuring compliance to its quality system, ERP, and MRP.- Working with the Functionals department, the position will also contribute to the development and implementation of materials department, strategies, policies, and practices.- This position will also routinely interact with the operations team.- The Buyer/planner will: - Create and establish materials system/processes, and policies in support of organization's mission & vision. This includes the implementation of the company's EQMS system, in accordance with compliant to 21 CFR Section 820, EN ISO 13485. - Participate and contribute to regular meetings with the CEO, CFO, and- Director of Operations specific to quality metrics, and quality system compliance. - Administration of the Purchasing portion (processes and systems). This includes managing individual PO´s. Requirements, quotes and ensure completion process of suppliers.- The Buyer / planner lead will verify plan implementation; effectiveness of corrective action plan; and gather, analyze, and report on Purchasing and Planning. - Maintain System parameters (SAP/MRP) in perfect shape to ensure its reliability- Supervise Finish Good products, Production products and Traffic Coordinator on daily activities to ensure a smooth operation - Responsible to monitoring and maintain Inventory Accuracy. (Physical and MRP)- Oversee Logistics Operation to ensure continuous material flow to support Site Operation within agreed cost metrics - Reviews and reports on aggregate levels of product inventory, inventory exposure, backlog, availability, and on-time delivery - Develops recovery plans if missed shipments occur- Facilitates development of processes and best practice models for outbound order fulfillment.- Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy and the rules of the road - Facilitate and manage demand planning/supply mgt meetings as required - RMA Management with Quality team.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: - Commitment to product quality, the Centerpiece quality system, and all applicable regulations (Federal, Local, and State).- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related scientific discipline and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. - Thorough and detailed experience with FDA Quality System Regulations (21 CFR 820) and ISO 13485.- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Has professional presence with a level of comfort interacting with associates at all levels of an organization (internal and external), including professional management.- Fosters and actively contributes to a positive team working environment
