**Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry in this position.**- **Knowledge of ISO 13485 and GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).**- **Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.**- **Bilingual (Spanish / English).**- **Essential duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following**:- **Execute reporting activities to monitor inventory levels to ensure inventory targets set for the project are met.**- **Meet with project leads to review project timelines and follow up on pending activities.**- **Coordinate with plants scheduling of the right mix of items related to the project, to guarantee customer service is not impacted during transition.**- **The planner/buyer is responsible for the effective coordination of the material planning, direct material purchasing, and production scheduling function to ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements, company inventory investment, and service level targets.**- **Plan supply at a master scheduling and detailed scheduling level.**- **Interface with internal and external customers for demand information supporting the Master Production Scheduling horizon.**- **Source and purchase direct materials supporting the production plan.**- **Prepare and monitor purchase orders for their entire lifecycle.**- **Contribute to Sales and Operation Planning process (S&OP) providing key input (supply demand/inventory).****Job Types**: Full-time, Contract**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- medical device industry in this position: 3 years (required)- ISO 13485 and FDA's QSR (Quality Systems Regulation): 1 year (preferred)- SAP or similar ERP: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Fluent Spanish (required)- Fluent English (required)
