Buyer Sr (Raw- Material) **Job Number**:SUP01013G )**Primary Location **: Mexico-Baja California Norte-Mexicali**Description**:Directly responsible to ensure the availability of the components in a timely matter by management inventory according to MPS/MRP carrying out inventory control, based on the analysis for the purpose.Alert planners whenever an issue arises which may alter the production schedule.Propose solutions and expedite as necessary to ensure customer demand is met.Based on AS400 MRP place the necessary PO's.Expedite "critical" parts problem solving/bringing up to appropriate areas for resolution.Identify and improve the overall situation with known problem vendors/parts.Keep clean receiving discrepancies detected including credits.Maintain acceptable inventory levels by avoiding creating excesses.Update and maintain system data (AS400 and SAP) as regards due dates, lead time, safety stock, PO comments, etc, as well as ensure both shows the same information, correcting any discrepancy between the two systems using the exception report.Check the C-Hold report daily (orders stopped in production for lack of any component) and if applied take the necessary ROB actions.**Qualifications**:Bachelor Degree Administration or Enginnering4-5 years on similar role/function.Experience communicating with internal and external business partners and cross-functional teams at various levels.Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.English 90 %Office ( Excel, word, power point)AS400Lean manufacturing knowledgeProactvie, ANalitycal, outspoken, responsible, work under pressure
