FLSmidth Mining is looking for a Buyer!
Location: MONTERREY, MEXICO.
This position resides in the NAMER Service Procurement Organization and is responsible for providing Purchasing support for the business areas across the NAMER region. It is expected that this position would be one of a team of buyers who support the regional purchasing activities within a cross-functional regional procurement team. Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, obtaining pricing for proposals, purchase order placement,
obtaining order confirmation, among other purchasing related activities.

Responsabilities:
- Buy direct resources for our projects- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously as you will have different customers- Pleasant demeanor, good with co-workers, calm in high pressure situations.-
- Understands procurement process including vendor selection and order placement.- Knowledge or understanding of bill of materials- Complete the offer evaluations.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred. Equivalent experience acceptable.- Knowledge of Mining equipment is preferred.- Previous buying experience preferred with 2 to 4 years of experience.- Advanced English- Good with data, spreadsheets and data analysis.- Experience with international suppliers is a plus.- Blueprint reading is desirable.
