Cad Design Engineer Mid

We are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer Mid to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and modifying CAD models, designing components and assemblies, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the CAD data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize product designs, and contribute to the development of engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
General Activities:Lead new design ideation & developmentDevelop packaging studies and evaluate to specificationsEnsure gDAP (Design Assurance Plan) & Packaging Checklist/ CS-Routing is completed prior to each releaseEnsure Clash & Clearance Computer Aided Design (CAD) Step verification is completed & issues managedDevelop vehicle occupant packages for vehiclesApplication of Vehicle Occupant Packaging (VOP) Computer Aided Design (CAD) templates to all programsIncorporation of competitive scan data into Teamcenter & dimensional data systemsCompliance report submission for specific domainsQualifications:Mechanical Engineering is a plusDesirable experience with electronic systemsCAD Experience is a mustJira experience is a plusAutomotive experience is a plusProficient knowledge/experience of TeamCenter, NX and VisProfessional viewerProficient in Excel, PowerPoint and WordBenefits:Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentWellness Resources
