Cad Engineer

We are looking for a Manufacturing, CAD Specialist.Activities and ResponsibilitiesUtilize 3D, CAD product models to develop 3D models and 2D drawings of new and existing manufacturing fixtures, equipment, and tools.Redesign existing fixtures, equipment, and tools to improve safety, reliability, and functionality.Work with Product Data Management to develop a manufacturing model and drawing release process.Release models and drawings into the PMD system.Interface with, and visit as needed, California, Buena Park Process Engineers to develop fixture, equipment, and tool concepts.Partner with other departments to document fixture, equipment, and tool improvements.Lead Concept and Design Reviews for assigned projects.Requirements5+ years in a similar position.Industrial Mechanical Engineering or similar.Experience with mechanical/industrial/machine design.Create 3D models and 2D drawings using surface files in SolidWorks.English (90%).Proficiency in Six Sigma & Lean tools.Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.#J-18808-Ljbffr
