This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This position works closely with other internal and external customers such as Inside Sales, Shipping, Warehouse, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and subsidiaries located throughout the US, Asia, and Europe.Working hours: 9 am - 6 pm (Mexico Central Time).
Remote.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate entries, reconciliations, and journal adjustments.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of adjusting entries.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management in strategic planning.Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules, ensuring all requested documentation is accurate and complete for smooth audit processes.Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including gathering information and supporting documentation for tax filings and reporting.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in accounting operations
