The Campus Coordinator is responsible for organizing events, managing administrative tasks, supporting student organizations, and promoting campus initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities:- Event Planning and Coordination:- Organize and coordinate campus events, such as orientation programs, workshops, seminars, career fairs, cultural events, and guest lectures.- Collaborate with various departments, student organizations, and external partners to plan and execute successful events.- Manage event logistics, including venue booking, equipment setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.- Develop and implement event marketing strategies to maximize participation.- Student Support and Engagement:- Assist students in navigating campus resources, services, and policies.- Provide guidance and support to student organizations, clubs, and associations, ensuring their smooth functioning.- Foster a sense of community and inclusivity by organizing social and recreational activities.- Address student concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate departments or personnel when necessary.- Campus Communication:- Serve as a point of contact for campus-related inquiries from students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and distribute promotional materials.- Administrative Tasks:- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation related to campus activities, events, and student organizations.- Assist in budget management, including tracking expenses and reconciling accounts.- Prepare reports and presentations on campus initiatives, participation rates, and outcomes.- Coordinate scheduling and room bookings for campus facilities and resources.- Collaborative Relationships:- Build and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and student leaders to facilitate effective collaboration.- Collaborate with external partners, community organizations, and alumni to develop partnerships and enhance campus programs.- Attend meetings, committees, and professional development sessions to stay updated on campus policies, procedures, and trends in higher education.Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.G., Education, Student Affairs, Communications) or equivalent experience.- Previous experience in student services, campus programming, or event coordination is preferred.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
