About this role HVAC Global Operations (Commercial and Residential) North America is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Material Planner to join our HVAC Aftermarket Planning team. The Senior Material Planner is responsible for both material planning and procurement activities, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to meet customer demand. The Senior Material Planner must have a strong background in supply chain management, sound negotiation/communication skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities Purchasing: Responsible for the PO placement process; support the buying/sourcing team to ensure parts/accessories are quoted/sourced in a timely manner.Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to confirm timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.Material Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to guarantee timely availability of materials for customer demand.Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce excess inventory.Data Analysis: Analyze material usage trends and forecast future material requirements.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning and purchasing efficiency.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on material status, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply chain performance.Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.Basic Qualifications Associate degree5+ years of experience in material planning and purchasingPreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or business administrationMaster's degree in supply chain managementCertification in APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) or similarProficiency in material planning software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDEExperience in material planning and purchasing in a manufacturing or distribution environmentExperience with international sourcing and procurementAnalytical and problem-solving skillsEnglish communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skillsWork independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsManage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesBenefits Health insuranceProfessional development opportunitiesOur commitment to you Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees.
