- THE ROLE:
The purpose of this role is to support Ford cash management activities
- The role covers a range of vital and critical treasury activities including cash management, FX transactions monitoring, operational activities, and reporting
- Responsible for accurate short-term cash forecasting of Ford entities for the purpose of supporting peak cash requirements and invest excess cash in appropriate investment vehicles
- Action the wire payment request as per internal Treasury policy and finalize cash positioning
- Handle different types of transactions including loan drawdowns, loan repayments, dividend receipts, supplier funding, other funding, intercompany payments on timely basis
- Perform daily bank account reconciliation between system generated cash records vs. bank records in Treasury system
- Handle and monitor future dated FX transactions and multiple portfolio cash accounts
- Support ad hoc process improvement projects for efficient cash management processes
- Backup for other cash desk
YOUR IMPACT:
The position will be part of Ford Business Solutions (FBS) Treasury team in Mexico.
The position will be responsible for vital and critical activities in cash management.
The position will have daily interactions with several stakeholders internally (global Treasury teams) and externally (cash management banks).
The position will report to FBS Treasury manager in Chennai, India.
- WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
BA in Finance / Economics / Accounting
- 1-3 years' experience is desirable (Banking / Treasury is a plus)
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Attention to details, good analytical skills
- Good organization skills with ability to multi-task, work under tight timelines, and prioritize work
- Position will support North America cash management activities and follow U.S. bank holidays; shift time from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM ET
