Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, contribute to improving the quality of life for millions of people.Job DescriptionSeeking a driven and experienced category expert to be responsible for Purchasing Logistics Services (Overland, Expedites, Parcels) for Bosch in Mexico.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):Key elements should include the following:Business ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing key suppliers for specific material fields (Mentorships).Negotiation of contracts for the nominated suppliers (incl.
global projects).Ensure policy deployment targets are fulfilled for the assigned (sub) material fields.Actively engage with plant colleagues and IBT – Global Category, Sr Category Expert for defining strategies.Actively support internal customers on their requests, working together to develop neutral RFQ that leverages competition.Prepare Regional Sub-material field strategy for nominated sub-material fields.Delivery ResponsibilitiesCheck purchasing requisitions and project/sourcing request issue purchase orders/contracts on time.Plan and conduct RFQs to ensure timely tender and/or renewal of the contracts.Support for issues related to contracting and contract compliance.Plan and develop actions to meet or exceed key KPI deliverables as outlined in policy deployment targets.Prepare monthly status reports outlining – RFP status, Savings and other key KPIs like Automation, Supply base reduction, Payment terms, etc.Participate in White Board Meetings and provide status of the ongoing projects.Drive Process improvements and work closely based on Strategic Tender plan.Key Result AreasProcess compliance.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.)
and SAP experience.Project Management knowledge.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other functions/suppliers and foster teamwork.Strong self-motivation to achieve policy deployment targets.Knowledge of the market in terms of varying portfolio of Professional services (Consulting, Temp Labor, etc).Market knowledge of costing of resources for varied skill sets and experience levels in Professional services & various models of outsourcing.Awareness and tracking of the market environment and dynamics for the respective material field.Advanced negotiation techniques.Familiar with international working environment.Excellent project management skills.QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS: QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.Minimum 5-6 years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics roles.
Experience with Logistics Purchasing preferred
