.As a CAPEX Category Manager you will have responsibility for the strategic sourcing decisions that will need to be driven by market conditions data around cost, technology, and quality.- Proven experience as Category Manager or similar role. Solid knowledge of Category Management. Understanding the applied practice, concepts and process several procurement fields.- Experience in Supply Chain/ Purchasing or related areas - 3 to 5 years (Indirect Purchasing / Capex is a plus).- Advanced analytical thinking and decision-making skills, an analytical mind with a strategic ability.- Excellent communication and people skills.- Advanced planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.- Ability to manage large, moderately complex, medium to high-impact projects.- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.- Ability to influence key stakeholders.- Engineering background is a plus. Facilitate execution of Master Category Strategies as part of the implementation team along with buyers and key stakeholders.- Support the collection of supplier, market, and Category information.- Support tracking and documentation of risk and issue management for the category- Support implementation of risk mitigation, cost reduction, and inventory management plans.- Lead MCSs approval with strategic key stakeholders.- Lead cross-functional teams regarding MCSs development.- Lead consistent communications with stakeholders to drive category management and foster trust relationships.- Get in front of sourcing decisions by regular participation in the IESS Sourcing Forums.- Attend required Category Management training modules when required
