Position PurposeOrganizes and manages a category (or more than one) assuming the initiative and risk of the business to deliver sales, gross margin, profit and coverage planPrimary AccountabilitiesBusiness Development - Identify market needs and develop strategies to fill them, build strategic partnerships, develop market opportunitiesPre-Line Reviews/Line Reviews - Build attractive assortment to grow business by creating business plan to deliver coverage, sales, gross margin and profit plan.Category Management - Category Contribution responsibility, gross margin control, category growth, contract review, vendor management including negotiations and development.Planogram - Building the Planogram, Min Review, ZAP Revision, Planogram Maintenance, Secondary Placement Follow upCategory insight - Store checks, market visit, competition research, Commercial customers visit.Store Support & Team development - Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Deals, Develop ACM capabilities and skillsMarketing - Create marketing plans, brand development and promotionsSupply Chain - Fill Rate, Special Orders, Recalls, Return to Vendor, Return to Stock, Order Follow upEducation & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Business degreeYears of Experience: Three to five years.Type of Experience: Merchandising, sales, category managementSpecial Certifications or Technical Skills: Microsoft office, negotiation skills, bilingual (English /Spanish)Other/Preferred: Analytical skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
