We always look out for best practice in the market to achieve excellence in everything we do.Job DescriptionIn this position, the person will be responsible to:Actively engage with plant managers and Internal Customers to define regional purchasing strategies.Coordinate & plan Professional & Software/ IT services Tender Plan.Manage key suppliers for specific material field together with Direct Reports.Support company's key policy deployment and sustainability/growth targets (CO2, Quality etc.) together with Category Experts in the region.Coordinate Professional & Software/ IT services activities and tenders in the region with direct reports, supporting activities like tender & project management, negotiation design, and contracting management.Take necessary actions to achieve Policy deployment deliverables.Develop Purchasing Category experts: Support / mentor category experts to achieve Policy deployment targets.Lead and manage White Board Meetings and provide status of the ongoing projects.Actively drive Process improvements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.Minimum 5+ years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics roles. Experience with Logistics Purchasing management preferred.Management skills with demonstrated managing direct reports.Self-motivated to define and drive continuous improvement of processes.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.) and SAP experience.Project Management knowledge.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - to collaborate with other functions/suppliers.Strong self-motivation to achieve policy deployment targets.Knowledge of the market in terms of varying portfolio of Logistic Services.Advanced negotiation techniques.#J-18808-Ljbffr
