Your tasksCentral contact between GCAT passive components and Continental BUs to support, able to negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, Support Quality initiatives together with SQM and coordinate and drive multiple Design To Cost/Re-DTC activities, identifying opportunities for legacy component reduction, downsizing, risk mitigation and introduction of alternative solutions and preferred components for development projects and projects in mass production to remove dependency on old technology and improve capacity outlook.
**Profile**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification.- More than five years of experience in Purchasing, category Management, Advance Purchasing or Logistics leadership related position in a manufacturing environment.- Strong team contributor, comfortable in collaborating with cross functional and multicultural teams in a highly active, fast paced environment across multiple time zones.- Have experience on suppliers negotiations, cost measures, SQM, Quality.- Technical Experience on the systems local SAP (SAP, SAP BW, Advanced Excel skills).- Knowledge on full product cost, CVA analysis, entrepreneurial, problem solving, strategic thinking and intercultural competence.- Good communication skills.- Advanced English.
