Reports to: Director Sourcing, Global Parts & Service, AWP
Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, this position plays a key role in executing our strategies with responsibility for sourcing aftermarket parts in various categories, utilizing the global leverage of Terex ensuring that Terex globally and regionally achieves the best value in cost, quality, reliability, service, and support. This role will also coordinate cross functional relationships, including product management, engineering, materials management, operations, customer service, pricing, and finance.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Monterrey engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, materials panning, and logistics teams to support aftermarket parts requirements.Provide project management leadership. Identify, evaluate, onboard and manage relationships with local and global suppliers for aftermarket parts support on assigned projects and provide monthly updates on sourcing progressDevelop and conduct RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs. Analyze supplier responses. Lead supplier negotiations, and select suppliers that meet or exceed Terex requirements for aftermarket parts business. Coordinate with aftermarket category managers, and cross-functional teams in managing aftermarket engineering changes, new product/program releases, supplier business transitions, and inter-company parts support, to ensure successful product launches and continuity of parts supply for aftermarket.Drive continuous process improvement and business simplification in aftermarket parts business for long-term success.Travel to supplier sites as needed to evaluate supplier capabilities and investigate new opportunitiesQualifications: University degree with a focus on supply chain, business, or equivalent combination of education3 years supply chain/procurement experience.Experience in aftermarket parts sourcing is a plusExcellent project management skills and ability to work in global, cross-functional teams.The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and able to work with little guidanceAbility to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentTechnical savvy and able to read technical drawings, specifications, and applicationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExcellent analytical skills plus high proficiency in MS Office productsRequired language: Spanish and English (verbal and written).
