Support regional/global sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Develop and execute strategies for MRO, Safety Items, Industrial Equipment, Office Furniture and Consumption Materials. Proactively identify opportunities to deliver overall Category performance, project pipeline, savings targets, and other key objectives. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. This role requires actively engaging and partnering with senior Business Stakeholders, Operations, Business Procurement and Finance.

IM&S Region Lead Americas

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supports the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional/global Category leader.
- Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms, and conditions.
- Conducts RFQs with Ariba and another e-tools.
- Supports and guides Materials Stakeholder with their purchases, invoices, new vendor setup, and approvals.
- Creates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates/maintains frame contracts.
- Administration, develop and execute strategies for MRO, safety items, industrial equipment, office furniture and consumption materials.
- Ensures a robust approach to supplier management by establishing value creation targets, reporting of supplier performance, developing innovative programs, managing supplier risks, and conducting regular business reviews.

**Your background**:

- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in industrial Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain or related degree.
- 5 years of experience with Indirect Materials and activities supporting MRO, PPE, Industrial Equipment, Office Furniture, or Consumables.
- Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global, fluid, interactive environment.
- Proven financial and business acumen and capability in negotiation, change management and stakeholder management.
- Indirect Procurement experience required.
- Experience in transactional purchasing.
- Experience conducting RFQs, eAuctions.
- Experience working with SAP Ariba, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel and PPT.
- Advanced level of English.
