Job RequirementsThis senior individual with not less than 20 years of experience in the IT industry will provide leadership, should be strategically aligned and be a change agent.
Working with the leadership team taking ownership of challenges and solving it amicably to have a smooth operating model are a must have.
Operating model not limited to but shall include the development of strategic solutions, supporting solutions, development of strategies and roadmaps.Should have started career as a developer hands-on in the field of software engineering and gained experience over challenges encountered in a development cum support environment.In case of need during an issue, as a leader should walk thru the problem (technology/non-technology) and discuss with leadership to come up with a solution.Should be a transformation agent experienced in working for firms with global presence.Should be passionate enough to create efficient global technology delivery models, identify-grow talent, design and develop lean-transparent organization structure, enable productivity.
Mandate is to have practiced working models at Fortune 500 financial services organizations of size.Creating technology focused delivery teams and working closely with global leaders forging strategies and forming highly engaged and capable teams are mandatory.Experience in multinational organizations as a seasoned achiever in shaping world class execution models end to end is a must.Should have commendably insourced talent, retained knowledge and catapulted $ saving.Should be a champion in building diversified teams understanding very well that attracting, supporting and retaining diverse talent are a professional and personal imperative.Passion to create efficient global technology delivery models, identify-grow talent, design and develop lean-transparent organization structure, enable productivity are the need of the role.Capability to work with managers, architects, business users, and team members to evaluate and provide team estimates for project and work requests is a must.Upholding professional standards and perform all work in a manner respectful of others.Assists in managing Human Resources tasks including, hiring, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions.Provides effective situation management and escalation, utilizing good judgement on diagnosis and resolution.Participates in industry related activities keeping knowledge up-to-date and on top of the latest technologies/trends.Work ExperiencePartnership and Team WorkGood communication and leadership.
Must be able to interact with business users and provide guidance and feedback to technical resources (including contract resources) as well as managers.Demonstrate strong ability to work in a team environment with the ability to influence and foster cross-team and cross-area collaboration.
