.Job SummaryResponsible for the Operational component of the Indirect Procurement organization. Will be focused on how to most efficiently manage the procurement process with a focus on effective RFPs and Contracts. This leader will work closely with category teams, legal, legal operations, and members of the global platforms. They will work with other procurement groups as needed to help establish a like capability in other interested groups. They will develop and manage the procurement process around how to best launch the highest volume of RFPs and endeavor to process the best volume of effective and compliant contracts within the quality standards of CBRE.Background RequiredEntrepreneurial business leader with proven track-record of success and ability to bring innovation and new strategies and build out this function. Strong strategic sourcing and procurement background with experience developing commodity strategies, running RFPs, and participating in contracting. They should have experience leading cross-functional teams on sourcing initiatives, negotiating service contracts across a wide set of clients across multiple industries and geographies. Strong communication and change management skills with solid working knowledge of best practices, procurement systems, contract management, and hands-on experience driving various expense category savings solutions and process efficiencies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage the operational component of our Indirect Procurement spend and help establish our platforms.Work collaboratively with executive management, individual business units, functional stakeholders to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies are communicated and leveraged across CBRE.Establish beneficial working relationships with the members of the Procurement Leadership team and potential stakeholders in applicable functions.Develop measures, processes and help select, implement and perfect tools to more effectively drive our operations. Drive the use of AI as a supplement as well as contracting strategies via tools like clause libraries.Develop metrics, including external benchmarks, to monitor performance and allow for data-driven decision making. Ensure that metrics, including benchmark data, and performance measurements directly support the corporate objectives and performance indicators.Develop reporting on spend, compliance, and operational KPIs.Manage complex projects from conception through implementation, including business case development and change management.Develop world-class category strategies that will help CBRE on both an operational and strategic level.Responsible for managing supplier risks and developing contingency plans.Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to reduce procurement costs, assure continuity of supply, improve internal and external purchasing practices, and promote continuous improvement
