About the Role: Coordinates and delivers an end-to-end contracting process. Works closely with the CBS Legal, Procurement, Global Legal Organization, and Supplier teams to ensure strong KPIs and SLAs, implementation and adoption of contract creation system and contract lifecycle management system, and to build strong, sustainable supplier relationships through effective and efficient contract drafting, negotiation, completion and post-signing contract management.
What you will do: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinates and delivers the end-to-end contracting process for Standard High, Standard Medium and Standard Low agreements. Leverages Contract Management automation to deliver an efficient, high volume contract management process. Drafts contracts using automated templates, Playbooks, and Automated Clause Library. Negotiates contract terms with Suppliers using Playbooks / Automated Clause Library. Determine appropriate escalation of items to CBS Legal leveraging playbooks, and manages escalation process through resolution and approvals. Works with Procurement and CBS Legal and Global Legal to obtain specialty guidance on key terms. Manages contract signing process, manual and/or electronic. Uploads final executed contract image and supporting documentation as well as supporting obligation information. Maintains electronic contract repository. Monitors performance obligations reporting and tracking of progress towards fulfillment, renewals and amendments. Performs system administration functions for contract generation and contract lifecycle management system(s). Performance Management - Updates contracts management system with entries regarding work performed and review status. Monitors contract request aging reporting, SLAs and follow-up. Support special projects as they arise. Participates in maintaining corporate contracting policies and guidelines, contract model forms and systems. Coordinates and schedules contracts training for Colgate personnel and other departments as needed. May Assist in training new hires in the contracts department. This role reports to a CBS Legal. What do you need for this position: Bachelor 's Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related fields. At least 3 years of experience in contract management and negotiation. Related industry is a plus. Experience with an automated Contract Lifecycle Management System is a plus. Ability to comprehend complex contract clauses, including both commercial and legal terms. Knowledge of contracting statutes, both US and non-US, is a plus. English proficiency. Our Commitment to Sustainability
