Job Description: Lead the construction and alignment of the S&OP (including input of Sales, MKT, Activity Mgmt and Supply) in the short and long term - 18 months - which will serve as the basis for the production plan and financial planning, using the 6 Step Signature Demand, with key responsibility of SS, Clubs, BorderLine and Retail.
What are we looking for? University Diploma/College Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Operations, Business, Marketing or related.
2-3 years of experience in planning or operations within a FMCG environment.
Experience in any forecasting tool (SAP, JDA, IBP) is highly received.
What will be your key responsibilities? Lead demand planning process: Pre-demand meetings, gap analysis and short term. Issue recommendations to ensure the process facilitates consensus on a 18+ period demand plan.
Collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure that forecast includes: innovation, market trends, point of sales activation, customer negotiations, supply constrained lines, etc.
Analyze sales periodically and track performance against forecasted quantities. Adjust statistical forecast and/or assumptions accordingly.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities. Enable decision making through a clear and consistent visibility to sales and management team.
Understand and use statistical models/system capability to maximize sales forecast accuracy.
Collaborate with supply planning to ensure that the demand plan translates into shipments & customer need.
Challenge and risk-assess building blocks, baseline key assumptions and isolates external or one-time events.
