.The Korean desk within Commercial Subsidiaries Group (CSG) in CCB Mexico is a key role to facilitate cross-border business by leveraging the strength of our Commercial Bank in Citi Korea in extending banking advisory and support to the overseas subsidiaries of Korean global parented clients and prospects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for colleagues within the CCB organization to gain experience managing a specific portfolio of CSG Korean subsidiaries in Mexico as well as the overall strategy of the corridor including proactive efforts to build and further develop the second most important business partner at the moment for CSG Mexico and capture the relevant Foreign Direct Investments into the country. While based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon the role will include responsibility over all existing and prospect clients nationwide as well as help build the corridor with our CSG colleagues in the LATAM region, including our presence countries like Brazil and Argentina as well as our recently launched GNB efforts in the Andean and Central American countries.Responsibilities:Calls on clients and prospects to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers, and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations. Builds mid-long term relationships with relevant local decision makers including local Korean representatives that serve as country managers, CFOs, and treasury personnel.Introduces solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio, including Treasury and Trade Solutions (Cash Management and Trade), Markets (FX & Derivatives), and Lending.Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs.Works closely with the Case Manager on the onboarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate "Know Your Client" (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met.Identifies cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.Maximizes client experience by proactively sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence.Drives innovation in the solutions we provide clients and further develops our business where necessary and appropriate.Executes strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels (local, regional, and global) while developing strong relationships and communications with global relationship teams at Citi Korea (Parent Account Manager, Global Solutions Sales, etc.).Networks with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.Administers the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processes.Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies/guidelines at all times
