**Main Responsibilities**:
- Pland an define of cement & co2 innovation projects.
- Design cement and Co2 research project landscape.
- Coordinate Cement Innovation projects supporting the company operational needs.
- State of the art review.
- Assure Research Findings ae properly documented.
- Projects management, review and tracking
- Coordinate Smart Innovation projects updates
- Patents filing (in collaboration with IP department)
**Position Challenges**:
- Maintain & evolve an internal network with all CEMEX Cement operations and innovation departments
- Strategic projects definition for cement & CO2 Innovation projects.
- Identify new cement chemistry and decarbonization related processes and technologies from the very initial phase, when the most advantage can be taken, but also when information is scarce
- Achieve peers recognition in the field to be able to articulate the network
**Qualifications**:
- English professional proficiency (mandatory), Spanish an asset.
- Bachelor degree in chemical engineering.
- Areas of expertise
- 2 years experience in cement chemistry
- Technical Skills required by role.
- High level of understanding of cement and decarbonization processes.
- High level of understanding of laboratory processes
