As a Facilities Sustainable Operation Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing sustainable practices within our company's facilities. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste, and promote environmentally friendly practices.**Main Responsibilities**:- Development of solid waste and recycling plans and studies.- Research, analysis, and compilation of project data necessary to meet planning objectives.- Evaluate solid waste and recycling services, operations, facilities, and policies.- Perform regulatory, code compliance, and policy development support services.- Develop project reports, analytical work papers, and project presentations.- Analysis and compilation of data to fulfill government regulations**Position Challenges**:- Achieving a zero waste certification for HQ Offices- Government compliance requirements- Culture change and employee participation**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field- Previous experience in facilities management, sustainability, waste management, or related field.- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.- Knowledge of environmental regulations, green building standards, and sustainability best practices.- Certification in any sustainable programs will be a plus ( LEED, TRUE, LEED Ops, etc**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL- Facilities peers (CRM´s, Architecture, Administration, Maintenance)- Health and Safety- Sustainability- Change management- P&IT- General facilities usersEXTERNAL- Government agencies- Sustainability consultants- Contractors and vendors**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
