.The Public Affairs Analyst supports the Global Public Affairs function in implementing global advocacy strategies and initiatives. The PA Analyst provides public policy insights and international affairs experience to assist the team in decision-making, project planning, and execution. The PA Analyst works under the supervision of a manager.**Main Responsibilities**:- Monitor and update our participation in global, regional, and national business associations.- Support in the research and creation of position papers and supporting materials for CEMEX's Public Affairs Agenda.- Manage the Stakeholder Management Platform Tool and provide users with guidance and support.- Gather best practices in stakeholder engagements across our BUs.- Elaborate reports on political and/or regulatory trends- Support in the research, preparation, and publication of the different area newsletters: Weeks Top Reads, Public Affairs Newsletter, Events Bulletin,and other internal communications.- Provide project management coordination and administrative support to the function.- Closely monitor global political and regulatory developments across the regions where we operate.- Support in the preparation of briefings, talking points, and presentations for top executives for their external engagements- Support in tye development of advocacy and engagement materials and assist with the communication strategy and production of material for publication, web and press articles.- Support in the development of Public Affairs Trainings including training materials, videos, and webinars to enhance capabilities and build cross-functional skills. Provide support in the Integrated Report process.**Position Challenges**:- High-intensity work schedules when supporting coordination of key events such as Davos and COP- Hard deadlines for preparing briefings and preparing senior executives for external engagements- High-level investigation and writings skills on technical topics**Qualifications**:- Must be fluent in English and Spanish and have excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills- Must have strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
