(Cen) Laboratory Analyst

Laboratory analyst in charge of performing different tests to support Operations, Innovation activities.**Main Responsibilities**:- Testing for Chemical (XRD), mineralogical (XRF) analysis, Alkalis, Fluoride, free lime, ARE Chemical)- Physical Testing (compressive strengths, setting times, flow, water demand, ARE Cement)- Samples preparation (drying, crushing, grinding, sampling, homogenizing).- Standards preparation (Raw Mix, Clinker & Cement)- Burnabilities for Raw Mix (XRD, XRF, materials recalculation, mixing, crosscheck)- Materials verification (Raw Mix, Clinker, Cement)- Samples warehouse management- Chemical reagents procurement- Concrete testing- Laboratory Housekeeping**Position Challenges**:- Delivery of analysis on schedule- Proficiency in cements techniques.**Qualifications**:- Chemical Engineer- Laboratory analysis- Office (excel, ppt, word management).- English (desired)**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL- Cement plants- Researchers teamEXTERNAL- Reagent's vendors**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
