Coordinate, and follow up the manufacturing / delivery progress for materials related with global categories for CEMEX.**Main Responsibilities**:- Review purchase orders and shipping schedules to ensure on- time deliveries- Monitor shipping and provide shipping status updates to the necessary customers; prepare & update monthly reports- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary- Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized**Position Challenges**:- Avoid any delays during delivery & good receipt process.- Facilitate communication between buyer, supplier, global negotiator, and freight & customs broker during imports process- Support, measure and analyze inventory performance in coordination with procurement planners- Deals and solves unexpected contingencies that threat supply plans, approved budget, or annual maintenance shutdowns**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce (preferred), Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, Economics- Language skills: Spanish 100%, English 100%- Experience on SAP appreciated- Areas of expertise: Logistics, Customs process, Supply chain coordination Minimum 5 years of directly related experience- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities- Excellent customer service and client relations skills- Good collaboration and teamwork abilities**Internal/External Relations**:In this role, you will work with our Global sourcing team, local procurement planners, local procurement logistics (imports) team to ensure efficiency and organization of logístical operations for global categories.Key global vendors, customs brokers, shipping lines, freight international forwarders, local transport companies**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
