**Main Responsibilities**:- Liaise with business unit communications heads and corporate SMEs to discover, research, and propose news stories for Cemex's global communications agenda.- Support external communications Head in managing the global communications agenda.- Craft key messaging for global campaigns and communications pillars.- Act as copywriters for strategic global materials such as Press Releases.- Coordinate cross-functional communications global agenda and editorial committee meetings.**Position Challenges**:- Comfortable working under pressure and on tight deadlines- Comfortable interacting with other areas- Managing a broad network of communications professionals- Prioritizing from hundreds of potential news stories to select those that better serve the company's reputation.**Qualifications**:- Language: native-level English proficiency, or full professional English proficiency required- Academic background: bachelor's degree- Areas of expertise required: Journalism (3-5 years of experience), Communications (2-3 years of experience)- Technical skills: excellent writing and editing skills, research, and quality assurance.- Soft skills (proactivity, agility, self-motivation)- Experience researching and gathering news stories.**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL:Sustainability, Customer Experience, Social Impact, Innovation, VenturesEXTERNAL:Audiovisual production agencies, Full service comms strategy agencies (Ogilvy).**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
