**Job summary**
The Global Trade Management (GTM) Center of Excellence (CoE) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of the Free Trade Agreement Qualification team. The team consists of Free Trade Agreement Specialist. This position reports directly to the GTM Country Manager.
This position oversees the Free Trade Agreements (FTA) analysis, develop preference strategies across business units, risk management, regulatory compliance, knowledge management within key stakeholders and maintain thorough and updated knowledge of international trade laws and regulations applicable to the activities of the various business units.
The major roles of the GTM COE Supervisor are: Personnel management, productivity and report management, demonstrates strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills as well as high ability to influence at Management levels of the organization. This position also develops solutions to complex issues related to the activities assigned and builds strong synergy with GTM Regional Managers, Financial Directors, Customers and Customs Brokers."
**Job responsibilities**
1.Lead and execute the Free Trade Agreements strategy based aligned with the global GTM preference and compliance initiatives.
2.Provide analytical and tactical strategies to take advantage of the Free Trade Agreements benefits in order to identify Cost Out and Cost Avoidance opportunities.
3.Partnering with Eaton Businesses, Stakeholders, and internal/external customers in order to ensure the highest expectation with
4.Manage Pre and Post Entry activities to ensure Compliance and FTA Refunds.
5.Create internal procedures, Handbooks and Work Instructions which include Qualification Determination, Cost Out and Cost Avoidance Determination, Compliance metrics, Software Solutions and others.
6.Develop appropriate trade metrics and strategic/tactical KPI's to provide real-time data to support transparency, decision making and opportunities identification.
8.Staff management including:

b. Career development
c. Performance management
d. Organizational development
9.Create strategies to identify Compliance problems and develop the plan for corrective actions.
10.Support the roll-out strategies to extend the CoE implementation across global regions and ensure smooth transition projects.
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor's degree required
**Years and area of experience required**
- Eight to ten years of experience in managing special trade programs in an objective manner for achieving of significant savings in time for the operational processes and/or economic impact (either directly or indirectly). Experience in Trade Compliance Teams such as Center of excellence - Competency Centers - Shared Services ensuring compliance in the areas of import regulations, corporate policies and best management practices
**Technical knowledge**
- Proficient in preferential treaties and classification matters
- Strong knowledge in global FTAs, such as USMCA, KORUS, US-AUS, EU-MX, CAFTA, etc.
- Strong Management skills, Supplier Negotiation and Customer Service oriented
- Managerial experience preferred
- Outstanding analytical skills

- SAP GTS Experience preferred
