Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for leading PAEN Mexico Finance CoE which supports 7 countries in PAEN Hub Americas, based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. You will in particular be responsible for implementing the future strategy and direction for the team, designed by PAEN Global CoE Lead & by Division CFO.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Division in the Finance Function in Mexico. Main stakeholders are local division controllers located in US, Canada and LATAM.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Manage team of people and hold overall accountability for execution of processes, planned tasks and projects, setting individual and team goals.Preparation of Mexico CoE APP / Budgets / Rolling Forecast; and monitoring Budget/Forecast vs Actuals variance analysis; ensure cost control by not exceeding the budgets.Performing and overseeing analysis of the financial results in your area of responsibility or team and coordinating the preparation of various management reports, including performance reports, commentaries on financial statements, etc., on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Coordinating and overseeing financial planning processes and activities (e.g., financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting).Leading process improvement and cost saving initiatives to ensure and increase profitability.Qualifications for the roleYou have 8 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, Project Finance+ leadership experience of running big teams.Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a global or multinational organization.Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities for conveying complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software (SAP, Power BI, Abacus, Atlas, etc).Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global business environment.Fluent in English and Spanish is mandatory; Knowledge of Portuguese will be an added advantage.Valid visa and Passport is desirable.Bachelors or Masters in Finance & Accounting, CPA.What's in it for you?Learn from highly experienced, genuine, and caring colleagues – people who are committed to helping you achieve your personal and professional goals.Manage a team of motivated individuals, make them grow and keep growing with them.Get motivated by continuous improvement in what we do and how we do it, bring your know-how.BenefitsPaid Parental leave (gender neutral)Life insuranceRetirement planAccident insuranceWellbeing program
