Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Certification Engineer.
**What you'll do**:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for driving change management in SAP and Enovia by coordinating, leading, and maturing the Engineering Change Orders and the Manufacturing Changes Orders with the Cuautitlan stakeholders to ensure the proper documentation and release of engineering changes and / or process changes required.
Elaborate the primary analysis in the specified order, coordinate communication, and appropriate documentation (both internal and external to the Cuautitlan plan), provide direction and manage all aspects of the change management in SAP & Enovia systems.
Will serve as the customer liaison at specified periods during the project life by coordinating appropriate communication and documentation for Cuautitlan and external stakeholders (PTC).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements along the manufacturing processes to improve the ECO/MCO workflow and communication.
- Document functional designs, test cases, results on the current Engineering Changes and manufacturing process (Develop technical guide, templates, and user manuals).
- Use and implementation of Winshuttle Process Runner for internal SAP processes (task optimization & maintenance).
- Review the Engineering Change Orders and Manufacturing Change Orders generated vs the notification and manufacturing processes, assuring the project change.
- Monitors overall performance during all phases of the ECO & MCO
- Conducts internal program reviews to provide status to the Cuautitlan management.
- Validate initial BOM against drawings for NPI & engineering changes.
- Participate in system testing and implementation activities, including documentation of processes and procedures with others Eaton facilities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Enovia & SAP MM technology.

**Qualifications**:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
A. Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering or similar is required.
B. +2 years of experience within highly demanding manufacturing environment.
C. Experience conducting multidisciplinary teams at leadership levels.
D. Experience on manufacturing processes, such as: plastic injection, stamping, forming, compression, assembly (high labor content and automated process)
E. Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP MM module implementation, maintenance, and knowledge of PLM software.
F. Strong understanding of SAP MM module functionality and customization.
G. Knowledge of engineering changes, manufacturing, procurement, and inventory management processes.
H. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
I. Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive greater collaboratively in a team setting.
