**Job Description Summary**: The CF6-GP7200 staff fleet engineer will take all activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety, and other performance parameters. She/he will develop practical and innovative ways of identifying and meeting business/program priorities related to customers and technical discipline. Lead and execute with mínimal guidance fleet issues meeting customer expectations in quality and on time.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, aeronautical or similar engineering.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- English skills: Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation in English on any topic with few mistakes (mistakes that do not affect clear understanding).Must have fluency,rhythm,and sufficient self-confidence in the language to be able to handle meetings and conversations.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with senior Leadership and operators (external customers)
