JOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for managing a group of engineering change coordinators. The Change Management Manager will provide for planning and direction to change coordinators to ensure engineering changes meet timing, cost, and quality targets.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Assign change coordinator resources to all engineering changes.Responsible for the tracking and communication of change implementation performance.Provide for timely engineering change implementation status.Understand and follow existing engineering change procedures, work instructions and standards and make recommendations for continuous improvements.Ensure that the engineering community is properly trained in and efficiently follows the engineering change process.Assist participants of the change process to understand requirements for the change approval process and subsequent implementation.Identify and drive improvements that will make the change and change management process more efficient, reliable, and cost effective.Comply with requirements of the quality management systems.Participate and provides leadership direction in PCR Kick off and CCB meetings.Assist in special projects and other duties as required by the management team.Manage resourceallocation for direct reports including analysis and balance of employee workload and assignments.Provide for skills training, mentoring, coaching and conduct performance reviews.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGEBachelor?s degree in engineering required (Master?s degree is a plus).Knowledge of automotive industry product development and engineering change process requirements.Fluent oral/written communications skills in English and Spanish.3-5 years of engineering management/supervision.Excellent organizational and time management skills required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, VISIO) required.Familiarity with project management processes and tools.Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.Experienced required 10-15 years in the automotive component manufacturing industry.APQP, PPAP, ISO/TS-16949, 8D, Root Cause Analysis tools.10.Strong attention to detail.11.Able to travel to foreign countries.INTERESADOS DAR CLIC EN EL SIG.
