**Career Area**:Engineering**- Ensuring data integrity, release, and maintenance of product structures for assigned product lines including NPI and Sustaining designs.- The review and audit of submitted designs and related documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency between databases as well as compliance with company and department policies and procedures.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, the registration of release history, and the maintenance of product data management systems.- Lead meetings to evaluate the impact to the company resulting from changes related to the utilization of inventory and other affected areas and organizations.- Participates in internal and cross-functional Rapid Improvement and 6 Sigma Projects.
Develops and contributes improvement ideas to continually improve the quality of change control and documentation management, as well as the simplification of associated business processes.- Provide leadership and be the focal point in the development and integration of complex product structures for both new and maturing products in multiple life cycle changes.- Participates in the creation, training, and deployment of Enterprise solutions and software as Subject Matter Experts for Configuration and Data Management.- May lead, direct, and audit work of the Change Administrators.
**Minimum requirements**English speaking required, Passport to the USA requiredBachelor's degree, or in lieu of degree, 7+ years equivalent work experience3+ years of direct experience with degreeExperience interfacing with customersExperience in Project ManagementExperience with Windchill or similar Product Data Management SystemsExperience with change management processesGeneral understanding of turbomachinery products and structures including aftermarketExperience interpreting and accurately communicating the intent of engineering changesExperience using Microsoft O365-Teams, One Drive, etc.
**Preference**:- Knowledge of 6 Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
